Everyone is fascinated by why people are the way they are - but most systems struggle to bring insight to the push-pull places where the psyche wants many different things. Modern culture's tendency to expect us to be "one unified thing" leads us to feel these multiple selves must be wrong, delusional, or that we are simply "in resistance" or "self-sabotaging." Looking at human nature through archetypal astrology lets us see that ALL of our many selves are valid, necessary, and generative, all together, and it shows us how to build skill at being ALL of those selves.
This way of working with people through an archetypal lens is, first and always, grounded in people's actual lives in the present moment. It doesn't focus on the past, or try to predict the future - it's about helping people deepen into their complexity and their paradoxical nature right here and now. By moving around and around the intricate structure of a person's push-pull places, we can help them come to a more nuanced, confident, and skillful embodiment of ALL that they are.
